Garden Folly

For DIFFA Dining by Design, for Architectural Digest, Montgomery Studios collaborated with Van Wyck on an immersive garden folly in support of DIFFA’s mission.

Drawing from the architectural tradition of the folly, the project transformed a temporary event tent into a decorative and experiential interior landscape. Blue-and-white painted tiles, reflective surfaces, garden-like forms, light, texture, and enclosure created a spatial environment that referenced historic garden pavilions, ornamental rooms, and the long relationship between architecture, pleasure, and display.
